Rayne Brown is an associate attorney with Lebe Law. She represents California workers across a diverse range of industries in wage theft, gender and racial pay disparity, and misclassification class, collective, and representative actions.
Ms. Brown’s litigation skills are enriched by her prior experience as an employment defense attorney, representing employers in both individual and multi-plaintiff actions involving a diverse range of wage and hour, retaliation, harassment, and discrimination disputes. Her understanding of how employers approach and value cases, lend her a unique capacity to achieve results for her clients.
Ms. Brown attended the University of San Diego School of Law on a merit-based scholarship and earned her Juris Doctor in May 2021. As a law student, she served as both the Community Service Chair and Co-Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, as well as the Student Bar Association Representative for the Immigration Law Society.
During her legal education, she participated in multiple pro bono legal clinics, monitored and reported on the activities of government agencies as a research intern for the University of San Diego’s Consumer Protection Policy Center, and provided emergency immigration services for victims of violent crimes and detained individuals in need of removal defense.
Ms. Brown is fluent in Spanish and received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish at the University of San Diego.
